Suitability of watercolour
Watercolour is an excellent choice where the colours in an image are
part of its appeal, and a good level of fine detail is also sought. The
facility to mix pigments enables reasonably good colour matches to be
achieved, whilst tiny brushes allow the smallest details to be
recorded. Watercolour is a translucent medium, and therefore not wholly
suitable for subjects with areas of very dark colours, but such
paintings are feasible. If
you are looking for something different, I can produce monochrome
Watercolour images, which are a good alternative to a pencil drawing.
